The Building Industry Association of Okaloosa and Walton Counties, Inc. (BIA) is a professional organization of builders, developers, and associates affiliated with the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
Three Memberships In One
When you become a member of the BIA, you will become one of over 250 local BIA members, will join one of more than 800 local builder associations in the nation and you automatically will become a member of the 10,000-plus corporate-member Tallahassee-based Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), and the National Association of Home Builders(NAHB) in Washington, D.C.
You are a part of a 220,000 corporate-member network and have access to a wide range of information, activities and services – as well as volunteer opportunities that will contribute to the success of your business. About one-third of NAHB’s members are home builders and/or remodelers. The remaining members are associates working in closely related fields within the housing industry, such as mortgage finance and building products and services.
The BIA’s cornerstone is its governmental affairs, political action and legal defense programs designed to promote and protect homeownership opportunities in Northwest Florida. Membership is available in Builder and Associate categories and is further tailored to your specific needs through BIA council and committee participation. You will find a network of peers in each council and committee discussing and addressing the issues you deal with every day.
We invite you to join us. Membership allows you to meet industry peers, stay informed of crucial issues, gain a competitive edge and get involved in your community. By becoming a member of the BIA, you allow yourself access to the heart of your profession.
People recognize your company as a leader in the industry when you join the BIA. As a member, you pledge to your customers, peers and staff that you and your services are highly qualified and adhere to enhanced standards of professionalism.
